ISC-6 October Hosts Model Arab League Virtually

On December 18-19, 2020, the SABIS^® Student Life Organization (SLO) at the International School of Choueifat – City of 6 October (ISC-6 October) organized the third Model Arab League (ISC MAL 3.0) in its first ever virtual edition.

Taking part in the debate were 50 delegates from ISC-6 October; Misr Language School (MLS); Cairo American College (CAC); the British International School, Cairo (BISC); and Lycée Voltaire. The event included two forums of discussion, ACJ (Arab Court of Justice) and CAFM (Council of Arab Foreign Ministers), where delegates took the position of world leaders on humanitarian crises in the Arab world. Congratulations to the 9 delegates from ISC-6 October who received awards for their extraordinary efforts during the conference.

The purpose behind this event was to encourage students from the local community to debate and converse in an attempt to find solutions to real-world problems that have intrigued world leaders in the Arab region. This year's theme, "The New Era," marks ISC-6 October SLO’s efforts to develop a full-fledged virtual option to ensure that the #Debate_Never_Stops despite the challenges posed by the new COVID-19 era.
